This site contains several recommendations, good and bad, that may help you make a decision before committing to a purchase.

Please do not feel offended if your favorite watch is or is not on these lists. The criteria used to make these lists are a mixture of common sense and the ever-cruel market. The decisions to place certain watches in the various lists depend on the views and perceptions of panel consisting of a watch-sector journalist, an official dealer, a gray-market broker, a life-style/fashion editor, a forum moderator, a collector, and others. Their identities will be kept secret so as to prevent any outside pressures and give the panelists absolute freedom. The lists will be updated once a month, and a majority of the votes will determine what goes on and off the lists.

I do not agree with many of these, but the goal is to present an idea of how the market evolves over time. This guide will help you know how the market views certain watches so that you make the right choice.

Watches will be commented upon, briefly and superficially, by the panel. The CRITIQUES will feature a timepiece that will undergo an uncensored critique by these professionals. Opinions may vary...
