With a perfect combination of aesthetics and high-tech, Richard Mille represents the best of watchmaking today. Even if the price seems slightly elevated with respect to the few functions that the RM005 offers, the materials, finishing and above all, the concept make it well worth it. You must hold one to fully appreciate it. |

One must believe that "revolution" is the best ally of change. Mille is a revolutionary in concepts and creates something that has little or nothing to do with conventional watchmaking. Hats off to him for the way he does things. |

No question that Richard Mille watches are the last word in cool, with technology to match, but I can't help thinking Seiko has already done something similar, or will soon. Give me the same watch for 500 euros, and I'll sing its praises. |

Since 1972 (when AP's Royal Oak was first presented), there has not been such a daring concept that has aroused so much attention in the industry. Absolutely stunning, RM starts where others have stopped and takes it all a bit further. Although, at this price, the RM005 could have a power reserve or dinamograph. |

The F1 of the watch world has given a small hint of color to the otherwise boring new offerings this year. Imagination with aesthetics and alternative materials makes it a standout. |

Leaving aside their surrealist prices, Richard Mille is one of my favorite watches. This one will be adored. |

For those who can't afford a Richard Mille tourbillon or split seconds chrono, this is the RM to go for. Love it or hate it, now it is now an icon and has gained a following all its own, becoming popular enough that it is the first RM to be imitated by a 21 year old Armenian with a name like a hairdresser.....and 'made in Switzerland' with foreign parts for a third of the price of a real one. The real thing still costs good money- and patience. |

Just superb. A breath of fresh air in the design of watches, together with an extraordinary movement. Although an expensive watch, it is worth the money. |

Great watch. A brand to keep an eye on as it forges its place in the market. Only the price will slow it down. |

"Yes! I can afford an RM." But as my non-WIS wife says, "What's the point in that? The whole point in these guys is the complications they can do." Hard to understand RM's descent to the lower end of the market? Think Jaguar X-type? Why? How long to retirement, Richard? |
