After the “Aquatimer” re-launched last year, IWC went back to its museum to rescue yet another of its historic models. I find this just right so that the general public not think that IWC is only the “Portuguese” and the “Pilot.” From this new collection, I like the chrono because of its sobriety and effectiveness.

This is a much too conventional product. It is salable, but we expected something more from IWC. Maybe it is a good example of the conservative turn that the watchmaking industry is taking.

Holiday liaison of IWC butch with Seiko bitch
spawns dull upmarket beater based on 'well known' platform. Ironically accused of copying the copiers, at least it looks better in standard guise than the stupid AMG version - another misguided motor manufacturer tie-up, but someone pushed 'zoom' on the CAD machine when they did the crown design.

Was never a big fan of the "Overseas" but this Vacheron... wait! Upsss...

The grand "reintroduction" for this season has disappointed. Fifty years have passed and, although the techniques have improved, the designs have not.

They didn't need to make up a nearly perfect timepiece (aesthetically speaking).

It reminds me more of a Seiko than an IWC. It has nothing really "wrong" with it, but definitely it has nothing "in."

Doesn't do it for me, Vacheron Overseas with a Glycine face.
