This is so far off the brand values radar for PP, I am at a loss to understand this. Flik Flaquanaut. Steel and diamonds. Cashing in on spoilt daughters? But at what long term cost? |

Patek Aquanaut, from conception to completion, is not my taste, especially this bling-bling diamond model. You really don't get too much for your money, a quartz movement and diamonds at double the price than same quality diamonds at any jeweler. My wife doesn't like it, especially compared with the "Twenty-4," nevertheless she admits It would be funny to have one of each color. But for this purpose, Gucci invented something much more affordable some time ago, didn't they? |

Patek has attempted to reach the "feminine clientele" by offering more affordable prices . . . what is bad is how they have attempted that. Nevertheless, there is no excuse for such "ugly" colors. |

In my book, the Aquanaut has become a classic. That's why I won't forgive PP disguising it as a clown. |

Sorry guys, let's keep it short: the Aquanaut is one of my great all-time favorites. It is just so kinky that you have to love it. But steel with diamonds is just an unmentionable abomination, lowering the innate class of the Aquanaut to the level of downtown Cheapsville. Utterly tasteless. Gold might have worked; steel and diamonds is however not done- utilizing a cheap techo-process of stone-setting developed for steel, and normally used to sex up low-end watches. Some years ago, Patek had made a special blue edition of the Aquanaut for a Japanese club; it was quite cool. There is a definite market for colored Aquanauts, the possibilities in that department are endless. But this? |

Personally I don't like it; it looks like a watch for children. Could be a hook for young, spoiled girls for the summer. |

When a watch has to dress up to grab someone's attention, it forces to me NOT to pay attention. I don't understand why they have hiked a watch that already was overpriced. Besides, it is supposed to be a sport watch, a watch to be used for swimming, skiing, etc... I would not feel comfortable playing tennis with a couple of carats on my wrist. |
