Good effort on the part of Zenith. But there is one but, the name. Don't you think that "Port-Royal Open Concept" is a bit too close to "Royal Oak Concept"? Ah, and one more thing, is it me or does Zenith have an "El Primero" fixation? I know they are proud, but must they write this on EVERY-SIGLE-DIAL!?! Guys, the few that know what "El Primero" is, know it is there, no need to remind them. The others simply don't care, really... believe me, move on... |

What you get when the CEO is the artistic director. Inspired by bridges and buildings apparently. On the form of this and others, quite where this historic brand is headed is anyone's guess. |

Awful. What a pity. Zenith has a great history and did not deserve this. |

A number of years ago, some designer from the whacky '70's - whose name I have conveniently forgotten- created a pair of pants and a shirt with see-through panels over the crotch and over the breasts in order to allow everyone to look at those all so important body parts- however 'squashed' and unattractive they might have look trapped underneath clothing. Zenith has gone the same route, opening windows on their movements to get the customer's attention. But why on earth do I want to see this? Ditto those youthful bodies from the 70's when we were all young things, these are healthy, great movements. But their factory finishing is not at all attractive to see. I mean, come on, would you rather see a Ford engine under a glass hood or a Ferrari? But alas, the market reacted strongly with a great increase in sales, and now Zenith is convinced, mindlessly continuing this route. The grid pattern dial is a great effect, but the cutesy asymmetry with the blued screw (and star?) are just over the top, and the entire dial layout is a complete mess. But it WILL sell. To people with no taste who desperately want to be different. |

Very nice, I believe that Zenith will surprise us in the future. Like the face as well as the finishing. |

Not a big fan of Zenith. Not a big fan of square watches. Not excited for see through mechanism on display, neither tourbillons. Definitely not my type of watch, although I love that caliber. |
